History & Focus
Founded by David L. Critelli in 1998, PLC Trenching is affiliated with Power Line Constructors, an outside electrical construction company. We got our start in telecommunication installations, expanded into heavy highway underdrain work, and entered the renewable energy market in 2003. Twenty-seven million trench feet later, PLCT is a premier national trenching contractor focused on utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage construction — while still serving grid hardening, communications, and heavy highway projects across the country.
