Our Service
Our trenching platform pairs rock-saw and chain trenchers with PLCT's patented laying-box technology. In a single continuous pass, we excavate the trench, mechanically install coiled flexible utilities, and place the first layer of backfill — at depths of 36 to 54 inches, in rock substrata or soft soils alike.
Versatility
That initial cable-zone backfill can be screened native material, imported sand or bedding, or an engineered thermal backfill — whatever the project's engineering and environmental requirements call for. Our Screening and Select Import Laying Boxes fully encapsulate utilities as they are placed, protecting the installation in even the harshest underground conditions.
Project execution
PLCT meets aggressive schedules without compromising the integrity of the installation. Beyond trenching, cable placement, and backfill, we provide real-time project status and material tracking through our web-based reporting system, plus GPS as-built data for every collection-system trench. On-site project managers add a layer of communication and quality assurance, while our crews work to meet or beat your timelines.
