Heavy Highway

PLC Trenching has built the equipment and techniques to install underdrain systems efficiently in both new and existing highways. Our machines load excavated spoils into trucks for removal and accept filter stone directly from delivery trucks — all while the trench is being excavated and the drain is installed and encased. On one project, we configured a laying system to fully wrap the filter stone and drain pipe in geotextile filter fabric, right in the trench.

We have completed over 27 million trench feet. That is over 4.5 million cubic yards of excavation, backfill, and compaction!
